Father Time and the Policeman

One morning a policeman was directing traffic near a construction site when Father Time approached on his bicycle. "I never stop," Father Time said.

But the policeman put up his hand and signaled Father Time to stop. "I'm sorry," he said. "I'm just doing my job."

With cars racing in his path, Father Time was forced to reverse direction; consequently, the policeman was condemned to relive his past.
