Father
Time and the Policeman
One
morning a policeman was directing traffic near a construction
site when Father Time approached on his bicycle. "I never
stop," Father Time said.
But
the policeman put up his hand and signaled Father Time to stop.
"I'm sorry," he said. "I'm just doing my job."
With
cars racing in his path, Father Time was forced to reverse direction;
consequently, the policeman was condemned to relive his past.
