One day a figurine mother was carrying her children down the sidewalk when she was distracted by a screeching car. She dropped her children on the cement where they shattered in hundreds of pieces. She collected all the clay pieces, except for particles that were lost forever, and took them home.

The mother diligently glued her children back together the best that she could, and repainted them. Despite the missing pieces and a few new colors, the little figurines were intact and lived happily.
