One day an elderly woman bought an antique glass lamp and took it home. That night her grandson examined the lamp, and inside the glass he saw a smokey scene of a three-headed silver dragon capturing a family in a forest and imprisoning them in its cave. The boy touched the glass, which caused blue sparks to fly in the room, and he realized he could enter the scene if he wanted. Night after night the boy watched the lamp, and he sympathized with the scared family. But he was too afraid to help or tell anybody what he saw. Then one night, as the boy looked in the lamp, the dragon turned toward him and then burst through the glass and rampaged through the boy's neighborhood.
