The Tall Groom

One night, in a quiet Italian restaurant, a well-attired man dropped to one knee and proposed eternal bliss to his love. After a moment of shock, the lady accepted, and the couple embraced each other, hugs and kisses in full bloom. Then the man began to grow, and his body shot through the roof of the restaurant, exploding wood panels and stone onto the street. He kept growing until his head was immersed in the clouds.

The woman was confused, but as the days passed and her fiance remained a giant, she concluded it was his nerves. "This is just temporary," she said to her friends. "A wedding is a lot of stress."

Months later, the wedding was held in a meadow next to a large hill. The guests were seated in white chairs, a buffet was displayed under a green tent, and the groom stood on his head. After the ceremony, the groom's height remained the same, with the aura of his true self in place. The bride was forced to make adjustments that made her life unbearable in a matter of weeks, beginning with the strangest wedding night known to man.
